Your brain isn't going to solve for a future you haven't committed to.
Feeling confused? Read this post- it’ll help you demystify what confusion is masking.
Inner wisdom.
My situation might be particular to me.
But ignoring our inner wisdom isn’t. I coach a lot of people who have confusion about what they should do, where they should live, if they should stay or go, what career path is right for them, and more.
We’ve lived lives that might have forced us to fracture the connection between our heads and our hearts. No matter who we are we’ve experienced situations that have changed us.
Unearthing who I really am and who I really want to be has been a lifelong challenge.
Emotional Resilience.

I buy a lot of books, but I don’t read that many. Why is that?
Coaching Tools: Name Your Brain!
I sometimes advise my clients to name their brains, in order to help them realize that they are sort of acting on their own. We’ve all just been mindlessly listening to this brain like it knows everything about us. Everything about where we SHOULD or SHOULDN’T go.
I must be doing it wrong.
This one thought stopped me from loving my life, making the money I wanted and believing that I was worthy of love. Here’s a look at how I changed it.
The way forward.
If you’re in confusion, and you don’t know what next step to take, this is the post for you.
Building resilience- public criticism.
Is showing up scary? Sometimes. Have I said the wrong thing publicly sometimes? Sure. Do a lot of people criticize me to my face in front of my community? Yes, all the time. But, that also makes me a pretty powerful person. I show up and am willing to be seen. Today I’m sharing how I get through public criticism to move my mission (and myself) forward.
How I finally made my business a dream (for me).
I kinda hated and resented my business for most of the entirety of it until now. I mean, it was a wild ride but it tested me to the limit and now I FINALLY feel like I’m an actual business owner. I think that sticking with something for the long haul is what unlocks its potential. Committing is the key.
The most important thing I do every day.
Every day I ask myself these two questions. I miss some days. But I pay for it. So, I try for every day. It’s not a fancy morning ritual, but it is sacred to me. And it makes all the difference in my day- and then in my life.
Show-up shame.
We’ve all been there. We decide to be truthful. We decide to be seen. We decide to show up in a way that our heart is asking.
And then cue the shame. That fucking guy. Ready to tell us that we should have never opened our mouths and we should just ‘go with the flow’ and not make any waves.
But we must show up for ourselves. Here’s why and here’s what to do when you feel Show Up Shame.
Before you scroll any further... Hi! I'm Steph Sheldon, a content architect and creative director currently calling Chicago home, though my journey has taken me from 15 years in Cleveland to an 18-month adventure in Turkey.
My world revolves around designing and producing websites filled with content that's not just seen but felt. With a background in architecture, a knack for DIY, the experience of founding a fast-growth startup, and a heart dedicated to business coaching, I dive into photography as my personal escape and expression.
My greatest joy comes from helping people—especially women founders—uncover and express their true selves online and through their digital products, peeling away the layers of social conditioning that have kept their authentic selves hidden. I'm honored you've stepped into my digital home and studio, a place where creativity meets business in a dance designed just for you.
As someone who believes creativity is not just a talent but a fundamental human right, I see our creative blocks as the result of a world that hasn't always welcomed our brilliance. Here, loving our uniqueness is our strength, while the pressure to conform has too often dimmed our individual lights in exchange for safety in numbers. But it's our differences that make us thrive.
So, I invite you to dive into the blog or sign up for a creative consultation. Let's work together to break free from what's holding you back and move towards the work that's always been meant for you.
