Sales goals and marketing go hand-in-hand. They’re like PB + J. Like Jeni’s ice cream + life. Like chips and dip. Let this dynamic duo help your business (and your mental health) by making sure you define them– together!

It’s hard to push publish when you aren’t sure why you’re marketing.

It’s hard to have a sales goal that actually does anything for you when you’re quiet about it.

Having a sales goal helps you decide how much you’re going to market. To who and when. And why.

Releasing content because you have a sales goal helps it be direct, useful and connected to an actual sale.

HOW TO SET A SALES GOAL

  • pick a number

  • pick a date when you’ll have that amount sold

  • write it on a post-it and put it In front of you

HOW TO CREATE MARKETING THAT SUPPORTS YOUR GOAL

  • stay on task– always be talking about the subject matter that your dream customer would like

  • push publish consistently– based on your sales plan you’ll figure out if you need to publish every day, 3x a day, 1 a week, etc.

  • make sure to always build in an offer, or a next step
