Here’s a few recipes plus my own take on a Turkish flavor.
It’s summer here, almost. Which means I need ice cream. But I don’t have a car. And I live on a farm in the mountains where I can’t walk to get supplies on the spur of the moment.
But I did have what I needed to make a simple soft serve. And I flavored it with what I had on hand– vanilla, honey, halva, sea salt and olive oil. It was gooooooood.

the most amazing tip is to freeze the mixture in ice cream trays and then when frozen, pop them out and blend in a food processor to get that dreamy soft serve texture ;)
