Meet my clients: Lisa Quine.
I’m lucky in the sense that my clients are some of the biggest creative risk takers in the world. They inspire me with their attention to quality, unique viewpoint on the world and desire to live their purpose. I love them so much and I really love that what I do for them is help them make their dreams possible.

COACHING PROGRAM SHE CHOSE:
1-on-1.
WHEN:
June 2017
WHAT IS DIFFERENT FOR YOU NOW AFTER COACHING?:
I have SO MUCH more intention in my work. I really consider my review streams, how much I need to charge, and what type of clients I’d like to attract. You helped me get my mindset right for making the jump to start my own business by blocking out negative thoughts and gaining confidence in myself. Before our calls, I fit the typical “artist brain” stereotype where all I wanted to do was create and not have to worry about the business side of it. You helped me see that it was both necessary and attainable to create good work and make a living from it!
WHY DID YOU SIGN UP FOR COACHING TO BEGIN WITH?:
I went to see you talk at Creative Mornings and emailed you about 15 minutes after the event. Your talk not only inspired me, but sparked immediate action, like I knew I just had to connect with you and get your help. I was a struggling creative that needed someone who wanted to see me succeed and could guide me on that path.
WHAT BIG THOUGHTS DID YOU HAVE STOPPING YOU FROM MAKING YOUR LIFE / BIZ HAPPEN ON A LARGER LEVEL?
I was terrified to quit my job and start my own business. I thought I would be struggling to find work and make a living by creating artwork. I thought I didn’t have enough clients to make it happen at the time too.
WHAT DID YOU BELIEVE VERY STRONGLY BACK THEN (THAT PROBABLY DIDN’T HELP YOU LIVE A DREAMY LIFE) THAT YOU DON’T ANYMORE?
I believed strongly that I wasn’t fit for the freelance life or wearing all the hats at my own company.
WAS IT SCARY TO MAKE A BIG CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE?
It was absolutely exhilarating. I couldn’t stop crying on my first day of working for myself because I felt excited, relieved, and overwhelmingly so, so happy. I felt confident and all in!
WAS COACHING HELPFUL?
YES!!! Without coaching I wouldn’t have made the right goals or really thought about why clients should hire me over other competition out there. It helped me narrow down a mission statement and how to carry that through in every step of my process.
WHAT SKEPTICISM DID YOU HAVE ABOUT COACHING BEFORE YOU SIGNED UP?
I thought that I might have been a lost cause beyond helping, haha. Like my artwork wasn’t going to be good enough to make a living off of. Or that it wasn’t going to be marketable.
WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED SINCE COACHING THAT YOU NEVER EVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE (OR MAYBE NEVER EVEN DREAMED OF ANYWAY)?
I PAINTED A GOD DAMN MURAL IN FRANCE LIKE WTFFFFF. Along with 29 other murals in all 2018. I also just made it to 6 figures which was my main goal.
WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST DREAM FOR THE FUTURE?
I would love to do more exterior/public facing murals around the globe and to start publishing more books!
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?
My biggest fear was not having enough work, and now I’m scared I don’t have enough time for all the clients that want to work with me! Total flip!
